More Cadillacquer Porn!

So last week I introduced you to the new indie creator Cadillacquer (see post HERE). Tonight I have another three beautiful polishes from this innovative range...

Effervescent

Effervescent is a gorgeous squishy, bright tangerine orange jelly polish filled with  micro and midi sized white matte glitter and a good dose of bright blue iridescent sparks. This polish has summer written all over it! The name really suits this polish as the white glitters look like tiny bubbles.

The swatches here show three coats of Effervescent (because its more of a jelly than a crelly) followed by a coat of Seche Vite.

 Serendipity

Serendipity is a delicate duck egg blue crelly base with lots of fuchsia hex glitter and smaller berry toned matte glitter. This polish hides a secret hot fuchsia shimmer that dances across the nail in the sunlight. This is one of my favourite polishes of the collection.

The swatches here show two coats of  Serendipity followed by one coat of Seche Vite.

Have A Little Faith

Have A Little Faith is a dusty mauve crelly polish with medium and small burgundy hex glitter, small white hex glitter and masses of tiny silver square glitter. This also has that magical Cadillacquer signature shimmer that flickers between a rosey colour and silver depending on the light and angle of your nails.

The swatches hare show two coats of Have A Little Faith followed by one coat of Seche Vite.

Kelara Lacquers Blue Steel

Hi Hussies!

Sorry for my absence over the past couple of days, but my dissertation at university is due in on the 20th March and I'm having to dedicate my time to that. I haven't forgotten about you all and I will be blogging still, it'll just be a little sporadic for the next couple of weeks.

Tonight I have a (new to me) polish called Blue Steel by Kelara Lacquers. I'm not sure why I'm only just discovering this brand, I must have been hiding under a rock!

This is my first purchase from Kelara and I was really impressed with the quality of the polish. Blue Steel is one of the polishes from their Double Rainbow Collection and is a beautiful blue holographic polish.

It sparkles in any light but get this baby in the sun and it explodes with rainbows. The colour is quite unique too, it looks like a bright baby blue in the shade but in the sunlight it takes on a denim/lavender tone that is really pretty.

The swatches here show two coats of Blue Steel and no top coat.

Kelara also have a gorgeous new collection launching on 14th March (my birthday!) so keep your eyes peeled :-)

piCture pOlish Monaday! White Wedding

Hiya Hussies!

Its Monday once again so you know what that means? piCture pOlish Monday!!

Today I have White Wedding to share with you. This crisp, white jelly packed with rainbow flakies is one of the piCture pOlish collaboration shades with Llarowe. The rainbow flakie/flecks are so pretty and look just like a fresh, hard frost with the early morning light glinting on it.

The formula is a little tricky to handle and difficult to get opaque on its own so I layered two coats of White Wedding over a base of Illamasqua Scorch. I wish the rainbow flakies/flecks were a little more visible and in your face as they can only been seen at certain angles and in certain lights however when they do show they are really beautiful.

White Wedding is so hard to capture on film, sometimes it looks like a flat white and other times the light bounced off the flakies and freaked my camera out making them appear grey :-/

Ninja Polish Alexandrite

Tonight I have a polish to share with you that is so breathtaking and amazing that it belongs in the Tower of London along with the Crown Jewels!

This is Alexandrite an exclusive polish by Rhonni the genius behind Ninja Polish...

Alexandrite is a colour shifting top coat unlike any others on the market. Not only does it have colour shifting pigment it also has matching colour shifting glitter that is so incredibly sparkly, its seriously a sight to behold. Nothing that has come before it can match its colour shifting abilities and anything that follows has a very tall order on their hands.

Its perfect over black and other dark bases which really bring out all of the colour this polish displays, but my personal favourite is when its worn over Illamasqua Prosperity. This combination knocks my socks off and it ranks very highly in my top 10 favourite polishes of all time.

The swatches here show one coat of Ninja Polish Alexandrite over a base of Illamasqua Prosperity, followed by a coat of Seche Vite.

Words cant cover how awesome this polish is so ill let my photos do the talking...

Cadillacquer - New Indie Creator On The Block!!

Hey Hussies!

Tonight I have three very special polishes to introduce you to, created by the lovely Madeleine, the face behind the new indie polish company on the block Cadillacquer.

Cadillacquer are based in Switzerland but ship worldwide. Its great to see indie polish makers cropping up closer to home!

Left Behind

The first polish I want to share with you is called Left Behind. This is a delicate light grey with a tiny hint of mint green crelly base with small green hex glitter, larger green square glitter and a smattering of silver holographic glitter to add a bit of glamour. The most special thing about this polish though is the intense green shimmer that shows up in every light and positively glows in the sun.

The swatches here show two coats of Left Behind (yes, two coats for a crelly base!) followed by one coat of Gelous and a coat of Seche Vite.

Echo

Echo is one of my favourite polishes that was sent to me for review. It's a gorgeous blackened, midnight blue jelly base with a complex combination of deep blue and green glitters, deep blue shimmer and gorgeous indigo micro flakies. I cant say how much I adore this polish. I was lucky enough to catch some sun whilst wearing this and it really was mesmerising.

The swatches here show three coats of Echo, followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.

So It Begins

So It Begins is a delicate lilac leaning taupe crelly (slightly more jelly like, but not a full jelly) with purple, lavender, white and pale blue glitter. Once again Madeleine has added her magical shimmer, this time its a gorgeous shot of purple. The shimmer is slightly more subtle than it is in Left Behind but you definitely know it's there, and it's definitely not hidden. When you get this polish in the sun it changes appearance completely, it looks a lot more lilac and the shimmer dances across the nail.

The swatches here show two coats of So It Begins, followed by one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite.
