China Glaze Kinetic Candy and Nicole By OPI A Million Sparkles

Occasionally a nail polish comes a long that totally surprises you doesn't it? My surprise was A Million Sparkles by Nicole by OPI. This polish looks pretty, well...meh in the bottle and its been in my untrieds for a while, it looks like blue and silver glitter with a bit of pink thrown in and nothing special.

Anyway today has been another bank holiday for the Jubilee and the weather was crap so I thought I'd use the time to work out how to make this meh polish look more wow.

I started with a base of China Glaze Kinetic Kandy. This is a pale baby blue that leans slightly grey and covers perfectly in two coats...

Urrrrgh do you hate it when a pet hair finds its way into a perfectly good paint job!?

Anyway as i was saying i was looking for a way to make A Million Sparkles look wow and my golly did it look wow layered over this...

Micro bar blue litter and larger pink bar glitter make this look like its on fire!

Look at the light bounced off the pink bar glitter!

Now i know there are those of you out there that don't like bar glitter but come on you have to admit this is pretty!!
