I decided I needed a "power polish" for today, something that says look at me but also that i mean business. I chose Picture Polish Munroe, a deep burgundy red jelly with scattered holographic particles.
This yummy polish can be a little tricky to apply but there is a knack to it. I find that if you apply in two thick coats it evens out beautifully, its one of those polishes that is better the less time you spend faffing with the application.
The swatches here show two coats of Munroe followed by one coat of Seche Vite. Seche was a total bitch with this polish, sadly it caused major shrinkage on all my nails :-(
