Rescue Beauty Lounge Aqua Lily

Hmmmmmmm RBL Aqua Lily, I had such high hopes for you. When the preorder came along for the Fan Collection I knew for sure that I wanted Aqua Lily and IKB:2012 and put my order in immediately. IKB:2012 will be in a future blog post and OMG is it STUNNING!! The swatch photos looked amazing of Aqua Lily, that pink shimmer was too much of a draw for me to resist!

However in reality I'm not thrilled :-(

Three coats to ensure no visible nail line and a pink shimmer that hides so much I nearly crashed the car looking for it. It is a lovely colour but honestly I expect something a little more "wow" for $20.

I just think that I was expecting so much from this that when it didn't live up to my expectations I felt really let down.

I think I may be the only person in the world that isn't blown away by Aqua Lily and I hate to give this sort of review, but at least you know I'm real and someone who gives their true opinion.

It makes me really sad to not love this polish. I'm thinking of finding it a new home, its only been swatched on one hand for these photos so if anyone is interested let me know, it should be with someone who will really love it. Aqua Lily is currently sold out and it is unsure if it will be returning as the Fan Collection was a limited edition.
